Certification

    The Great Plains SHRM Chapter strongly believes and encourages certification as Professional Human Resources (PHR) and a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR).  A PHR Prep Course is offered through the Great Plains Technology Center.

      Beginning February 23 2017, GPTC will host a   SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP CERTIFCATION   PREPARATION COURSE.

      The course will be  taught by Moore   Norman Technology Center and viewed live in Lawton via  Interactive Television (ITV)  at GPTC

    COST:   $999 (includes the 2017 SHRM   LEARNING SYSTEM)

    HRBP

    The Human Resource Business Professional (HRBP℠) is a globally relevant credential that is designed to validate professional-level core human resource knowledge and skills. The credential demonstrates mastery of generally accepted technical and operational HR principles. Independent of geographic region, the credential complements local HR practices. Through demonstrated knowledge, the credential enhances the credibility of HR professionals and the organizations they serve.

    Exam Content

    The HRBP exam is divided into six functional areas:

    • HR Administration (22%)
    • Recruitment & Selection (22%)
    • Employee Relations & Communication (20%)
    • Compensation & Benefits (14%)
    • Training & Development (15%)
    • Health, Safety & Security (7%)

    Computer Based Test (CBT) with 170 questions

    3 hours 15 minutes long

    1 year of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Master’s degree or higher

    2 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree

    4 years of demonstrated professional HR experience with less than a Bachelor’s degree
